The Vashon High School Fall Cheerleaders would like to invite your elementary school student to join us for our mini cheer camp on September 22-24. The camp will conclude with the mini cheerleaders joining the VHS cheerleaders for the first half of the VHS football game on Friday, September 26. Mini Cheer will also perform a dance with the VHS cheerleaders at halftime. All mini cheerleaders will receive their own set of junior poms and a cheer shirt to wear at the game.

Schedule

September 22-24: Mini cheerleaders will be picked up by the VHS cheerleaders right after school at the Chautauqua flagpole and walked over to VHS for practice. Mini cheerleaders should be wearing comfortable clothing and gym shoes, and should have snacks and water packed as well. Please note: You must pre-arrange your child’s pick-up to reflect meeting at the flagpole in School Dismissal Manager.

Mini cheerleaders can be picked up in front of VHS at 5:00 p.m.

September 26: Mini cheerleaders will meet at 6:30 p.m., at the VHS football field (tickets will be covered by the cost of the camp). Mini cheerleaders should be wearing their own black athletic pants and gym shoes. They will receive their t-shirts and poms at the game. Mini cheer is welcome to leave after the halftime performance or stay and cheer on from the stands.

Cost

The cost of the camp is $100 per student or $25 if your child qualifies for free and reduced (with the consent to share form returned to the District). The fee includes a camp t-shirt, poms, and entrance to the game. All proceeds go to the VHS Cheer Program.
