The Vashon High School volleyball program would like to invite all elementary students to join them for the Pirate Pals Volleyball Clinic, after school, on October 14, 15 and 17. The clinic will conclude with all participants joining the VHS team for a demo before the home game on Monday, October 20. All participants will receive a Pirate Pals t-shirt to wear during the game day demo and to keep as a souvenir. Pirate Pals will learn basic volleyball skills, play mini-games, and most importantly—have fun!

Important Notes

Parents/guardians must have parental permission and put in advance notice via School Dismissal Manager that their student will be participating. CES students will be walked over to the high school after school by the VHS team. If the CES front office has not been notified in advance, students will not be able to attend and will have follow their normal dismissal plan.

Students should make sure they wear comfortable clothing and gym shoes and have snacks and water. Pirate Pals can be picked up at 5:00 p.m., at the VHS gymnasium.

Game Day

Pirate Pals will meet at the VHS gym at 4:15 p.m., on October 20. They should be wearing a white long-sleeved shirt, black athletic pants, and gym shoes. T-shirts will be handed out prior to the demo. Pirate Pals are welcome to leave after the demo or stay and cheer on the Pirates squad!

Cost

The clinic is $55 per student or $25 if your student qualifies for free and reduced (with the Consent to Share Form returned to the district). This price includes the clinic, the t-shirt, and entrance into the October 20 game. All proceeds support the VHS volleyball program.
